Hello again! Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I am so ecstatic to be a part of the Mama Elephant 6th Anniversary Celebration! I have created two cards to share with you. Let's get started, shall we? YES!

If you have followed me for any time at all, you know how much I love to combine stamp sets to create fun scenes. There are so many amazing new stamps and dies released this month! I was lucky enough to be chosen to highlight the new Yappy Woofmas stamp and die sets. It has some of the most adorable puppies you have ever seen doing some of the cutest (and mischievous) things!

For my first card, I combined the new Yappy Woofmas stamp set with the previously released Carried Away stamp set. The little boy and girl from Carried Away are joining in the snowball fight. I stamped all of the images with a Copic friendly ink, colored them in with Copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the background, I die cut a panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the large stitched rectangle from the Peek a Frame die set. I ink blended Distress Inks onto the panel then I spritzed it with water to create some fun distressing.

I also die cut some more Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the On The Hills Creative Cuts die set and blended Distress Inks on those pieces as well. To make the images, seem to pop off of the card base, I used small foam squares on the top half of the back of the images and glue dots on the bottom of each.

To finish the card, I heat embossed a beautiful sentiment from the Jingle Greetings stamp set using white embossing powder to make it stand out in contrast to the dark blue sky. I also used a shimmer pen to make the snow sparkle. I used a black Sakura Glaze pen and a white Sakura Gelly Roll Pen on the eyes of the characters and Ranger Glossy Accents on the noses and berries.

For my second card, I combined the Yappy Wolfmas stamp set with the previously released Merry Mantle, Cozy Christmas, and Tandem Ride stamp sets. I stepped outside of my comfort zone on this one, but love how it turned out! I stamped the images on Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock and colored them using Prismacolor pencils. It gives a totally different look and takes longer than using markers, but is so worth it when it's finished.

I created a cozy scene using some patterned paper and finished the card off by heat embossing a sentiment from Cozy Christmas with white embossing powder.
