Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Cake Slice Box

As a fun, surprise addition to this Inspiration Week, Lawn Fawn has added in a bonus day to show off even more wonderful products from the Summer Release. As usual, Lawn Fawn has created pure magic for us to work with. The Cake Slice Box Die Set is no exception.

My favorite type of cake is carrot cake. I mean come on! It's practically healthy! It's got protein from eggs, dairy from milk, and carrots to round off an almost balanced taste of heaven... Haha! In line with my favorite, I wanted to design my cake slice to be carrot cake. Yummy!

I die cut a piece of Lawn Fawn's Paper Bag Cardstock using the rectangular die with the sections in the middle. I then used Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Carved Pumpkin, and Antique Linen Distress Oxide Inks to splatter the paper. To add an even lighter shade to the mix, I watered down a little Lawn Fawn Yeti Ink and splattered that on top. Vwahlah! Carrot Cake!

I then die cut the frosted portions of the cake from Lawn Fawn's Vanilla Malt Cardstock and using my Copic Markers, I gave the edges a little color to make the cake look even more realistic. I then die cut a carrot from Lawn Fawn Cilantro and Fake Tan Cardstock using the carrot die from the Stitched Garden Border Die Set and sponged the edges using Lucky Clover and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink.

The best part about the new Cake Slice Box Die is that it forms the cutest little box that you can put some sweet little treats in. I don't know about any of you, but one of the hardest parts of constructing a box is making the lid slide on. The dies cut the paper perfectly for the top and bottom parts of the slice and the top slips on so easily! The guess work has been taken out of the process for you. Thank you Lawn Fawn!

I truly appreciate all of you and your sweet comments! This is the last day for this round of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week. We will be back next month with another Inspiration Week featuring the Summer Release. I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Tropical Backdrop Die

Ahoy, Maties! Haha! Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn's May Inspiration Week! Today, the design team is featuring the new Tropical Backdrop Die. I love a good scene building background die and Lawn Fawn makes the best! I love how the summer release is so thoughtfully geared towards the beach and fun in the sun!

When I saw this die, I immediately wanted to use the previously released Ahoy, Matey Stamp and Die Set to create a fun scene. I really love how it turned out! I added in some additional images from Happy Village and Butterfly Kisses Stamped Sets to finish off the scene.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope that you found some inspiration here. I truly appreciate you taking the time to visit my blog! Don't forget to leave a comment on Lawn Fawn's blog for another chance to win some prizes that will be announced tomorrow. I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Smooth Sailing Stamp Set/Stitched Simple Wavy Borders/Slide On Over Waves

Welcome to the part of Inspiration Week where we are showing another one of my new favorite sets, Smooth Sailing. I just love the nautical feel of the set, but I can imagine using the smaller bunny and bear images in so many ways! We are also showing off the new Stitched Simple Wavy Borders and Slide On Over Waves Die Sets. They are amazing for creating fun interactive scenes!

I used some additional images from Butterfly Kisses, Mermaid For You, and Push Here stamp sets to round off the scene. As you tilt the card to the side, the sweet little boat moves along the track created by the Slide On Over Waves Die. Love it!

As soon as I saw the little lighthouse in this set, I knew that I wanted to use Chibitronics to make it light up, so I did just that! The heart image and sentiment from the Push Here Stamp Set lets the recipient know what needs to be done for another fun surprise. A double interactive design! YES!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Peacock Before N' Afters Stamp Set

Hello again! The Lawn Fawn Design Team is highlighting the new Peacock Before 'N Afters Stamp and Die Sets. This set is a continuation to the previously released Get Well Before 'N Afters Stamp Set that was designed to be used with the amazing Magic Picture Changer, but any of these stamp sets can be used without the Magic Picture Changer as well.

I don't know about you, but I have been secretly longing for Lawn Fawn to introduce a peacock image to the family. Their critter images never disappoint in the cuteness department and the punny and wonderful sentiments are just as adorable!

I wanted to create a celebratory card that could be used for multiple occasions. I tend to lean towards these so that I have more to pull from in my card stash. I created a scene with mostly floral and vegetation images to really highlight the peacock.

As you pull the tab at the top of the card, the peacock fans it's beautiful feathers to show off a truly impressive plumage. This makes the completion of the sentiment at the bottom even more evident and funny!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! Please go to the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment. I would love for you to win one of the prizes for this Inspiration Week! Have a wonderful day!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Say What? Pets Stamp Set/Speech Bubble Backdrop

We continue to carry on with Lawn Fawn's May Inspiration Week with the introduction of another adorable addition to their product line. The new Say What? Pets Stamp and Die Sets and the Speech Bubble Backdrop Die. This backdrop die is so fun! You can use it with any of your favorite sentiments or as a stand alone background.

For my card, I wanted to highlight the adorable little cat/kitten image from Say What? Pets. I colored four of them as the babies to one of the cat images from the previously released Meow You Doin' Stamp Set. I have them calling out variations of "Mom" in the speech bubbles in this fun Mother's Day card. (I think any mom could relate to that. 😉) I used the Happy Happy Happy, Happy Happy Happy Add-On: Family, and Say What? Pets Stamp Sets for the sentiments.

I also added in a rainbow of flying yarn balls, cat bed, and one cute little mouse as accessory images from the Meow You Doin' Stamp Set. I used the Happy Mother's Day Line Border Die to ground the scene at the bottom of the panel.

Thank you for stopping by! As always, head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment for a chance to win and I will be back with more inspiration for you all tomorrow. Have a great day!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Keep On Swimming/Reveal Wheel Keep On Swimming Add-On/Templates

Hello again! I am super excited to share my card with you today! The stamp set that we are showcasing is one of my favorites from the release. I love fish and water themed sets. As soon as I saw the Keep On Swimming Stamp and Die Sets, Reveal Wheel Keep On Swimming Add-On Dies, and the new template stencils from this release, an idea popped into my head! The fish makes me think of Dr. Seuss's Cat In The Hat with it's adorable little facial expressions. Especially the forward facing fish.

I added in some adorable little kids from the Bicycle Built For You and Screen Time Stamp Sets and the the cat is from the Meow You Doin' Stamp Set. I am super excited that the Keep On Swimming stamp set includes a table. I would love to see a furniture set come out from Lawn Fawn in the future. This is a great start for those you enjoy building scenes in their card designs.

As you spin the reveal wheel, the little fish changes...

And changes again! The Keep On Swimming Stamp Set includes an adorable puffer fish and clam that change that can be used with the Reveal Wheel Die Set or any of Lawn Fawn's interactive die sets.

Thank you once again for visiting my blog today. I hope you aren't tired of the reminder, but head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment because there are chances to win prizes there the whole Inspiration Week! I'll be back tomorrow with more to share, so please stop back by then!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Center Picture Window Card Die Set

Welcome to another day of inspiration from Lawn Fawn! Today, I have a fun card to share using the new and incredible interactive Center Picture Window Card Die Set. This set is seriously so much fun! The card is smaller in stature, but jam packed with possibilities. It is perfect when you need a fun card that can be as simple as complex as you like.

I made an adorable little farm themed card using some older sets. If you have been around Lawn Fawn for any time at all, you have probably seen that you can use any previously released products with any of the new products. I have said it before, but it bears repeating. Since you can continue to build and grow your collection and it works seamlessly together, Lawn Fawn is an investment. (Feel free to use that as your mantra. Wink, wink!)

The first pic shows the front of the card. Who wouldn't love a sweet "Hay there" message from these cuties?

As you open up the card, a whole dimensional scene comes to life! Lawn Fawn is wonderful about packing their die sets with building elements to create fun and easy projects. YES! I used trees from the previously released Shadow Box Card Park Add-On Set to frame up the center window. Your imagination is the limit on what you can do with this set!

Thank you again for stopping by today! It means the world to me to read your comments. Please visit the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment for more chances to win all week! Have a wonderful day and see you tomorrow!

Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: On The Beach Stamp Set and Hammock and Trees Die Set

Welcome back friends to another amazing Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The Summer Release is absolutely amazing! I promise that you will want everything. Lawn Fawn is phenomenal about creating inspiring products that will let you playful mind run wild, so get ready!

I have created two cards for today to share with you. The first card features the new On The Beach Stamp and Die Sets. I fell hard for this set! Not only does it include adorable critters, but scene building elements as well. (And y'all know that scene building is my jam!)

I added in the cutie patootie bear and food booth from the Coaster Critters Stamp and die Sets, the sun and clouds from the Happy Village Stamp and Die Sets, a rock and grass from You Are Sublime and Butterfly Kisses Stamp and Die Sets, and some birds Life Is Good and Happy Village Stamp and Die Sets. Whew! (I tend to pull from quite a lot of sets to build my scenes, but Lawn Fawn works perfectly together!)

My second card features the new Hammock and Trees Die Set. I mixed in several stamp sets to create a little bear beach party including: On The Beach, Concert Critters, Beary Happy Holidays, You Are Sublime, Happy Village, Sweet Friends, and Butterfly Kisses.

I added in the Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-On Die to give the hammock the illusion of movement. How fun is that?! I also used the new Happy Summer Line Border Die that will be featured during the next Inspiration Week.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope that you found something that inspired you here. Please be sure to hop on over to the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment there all week for a chance to win some amazing prizes! See you tomorrow!

Lawn Fawn May Blog Post: Beach Bunny Magic Picture Changer

Ahhh! I cannot believe that it is May already! Whew! With that being said, I am super excited to be back on Lawn Fawn's blog today sharing this super cute interactive card. I absolutely love (and I mean LOVE) the Magic Picture Changer Die Set! I think anyone who has tried it, feels the same way. It makes such a wow design possible while keeping it user friendly and easy to assemble.

My inspiration for today's card came while watching the Disney Channel. There was a cute little chubby bunny playing on the beach with a cute little chubby chick and I was like YES! The Some Bunny Stamp Set remains one of my all time favorites released by Lawn Fawn. (How can you resist those bunnies and all of those accessory images? You can't. Period.) I am always trying to come up with fun new ideas to use it. And that is how this card came to be.

I have also been trying to find fun, new ways to frame up the window of the Magic Picture Changer. Another one of my favorite things about Lawn Fawn is how effortlessly their products work together. I can't believe that any of this happens as a coincidence, so I have to assume and believe that the creative geniuses at Lawn Fawn just think of everything. (Yep. Kelly, Mike, and Erica are just brilliant!)

As I was looking thru my Lawn Fawn die sets, I came across the Say Cheese, Again Die Set. The larger of the two dies frames up the changing window perfectly! When you pull the pull tab at the top, the scene changes from the cheeky little bunny holding up his swim shorts to...

The same cheeky little bunny with his sunglasses pushed up to the top of his head, holding a fruity beverage. Straw and all!

I hope that you have enjoyed my card share today and can't thank you enough for stopping by! For a complete list of supplies that I used, please visit the Lawn Fawn blog. I hope that your weekend is amazing and I will be back next week. Can you believe it's almost time for another Inspiration Week? Woot woot!

Pretty Pink Posh May Release

Hello everyone! Thank you for stopping by! Today is the second day of the Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop for May and I am so excited to share that I am guest designing for Pretty Pink Posh this month! It is such a wonderful release packed with adorable stamp and die sets, jewels packs, and stencils.

I have two cards to share with you featuring the new products, so let's get started! The first card that I created uses the new Elephant Friends Stamp and Die Set.

Aren't these elephants adorable?! I combined the Bee Friends Stamp and Die Sets to add some pops of yellow to the scene. The bees are so cute and pair with the elephant illustrations seamlessly!

For my second card, I created a fun shaker card using the new Cornflower Jewels Mix. It is so pretty! I combined the new Elephant Friends, Animal Signs, and Congrats Grad Stamp and Die Sets with the new Congrats! Sentiment Die to create a congratulatory graduation themed card. This type of card is perfect for this type of year, because graduation season will be upon us anytime.

Be sure to leave comments along the hop. There are four (4) $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day of the blog hop). Winners will be picked randomly along the hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 5/8/2019. Winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh blog, so let's get hopping!
