Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Day 2 Pick of the Patch

Lawn Fawn kicked off the Fall/Winter 2018 Inspiration Week yesterday! Woo-hoo! Today, the design team begins sharing what we have been working so diligently the last couple of months. Without further ado, let's get started!

The cards that I am sharing were shown by Lawn Fawn during last month's Sneak Week, but I wanted to share them here as well, in case anyone missed them.

My first card features the new Pick of the Patch stamp and die sets combined with the new Reveal Wheel Pick of the Patch Add-On Dies.  This combo allows you to stretch the already released Reveal Wheel Die Set even further! I combined older stamp sets to create the scene. I then stamped the sentiment on the strip created by the also new Spooky Fence Border.  So fun!

My second card also uses the new Pick of the Patch stamp and die set.  I used images from the moon from the Happy Howloween stamp set and images from the Booyah stamp set and the to dress up the pumpkins in cute little Halloween outfits. For a finishing touch, I heat embossed the background using Lawn Fawn's Glow in the Dark embossing powder and the Starry Backdrop stamp set.  It was hard to get a good picture of the stars glowing, but it looks amazing in person.  (Did you know that Lawn Fawn is also releasing their own Clear Ink Pad for heat embossing?! The design team will be featuring that next week also.)

For my third and final card share for today, I created a fun Fall themed scene with lots of cute little critters.  The Pick of the Patch stamp set is so versatile! If you need a pumpkin or an adorable squirrel, it's got ya covered!  Again, I paired it with previously released critter sets including Jump for Joy, Some Bunny, Happy Harvest, and Cheery Christmas.

Thank you so much for stopping by and if you haven't checked out the Lawn Fawn blog please do so!  They are giving you the chance to win prizes all week long by leaving a comment.  Have a great day and I will have more to share tomorrow!

  3. What gorgeous cards you make. So detailed and well worked. Hat's off =). I was curious how you did the black outline frame with orange dots on the first card?? Did you use a Large Stitced Rectangle and then a smaller "ordinary" rectangle to create that thin frame??

    1. Thank you so much! I used the largest die in the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables Die Set and then ran it back thru using the Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop Die. I layered that onto an A2 sized piece of orange cardstock. The Reveal Wheel panel is just layered on top of that. Thank you for your interest!
