Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Just Stitching Double Circles

Hello! Today, we are taking a closer look at the new Just Stitching Double Circles Die Set. The stitching allows you to highlight areas on your projects, add fun detailing, or add a cool effect.

For my card, I thought that it would be neat to use the Just Stitching Double Circles to create a ripple effect on my fishing scene. What is more adorable than a boy and his dog enjoying nature? I used a white gel pen to add detail inside the stitching line to add even more emphasis there and to draw the recipient's eye to the area where the little boy just pulled out a fish.

I used additional images from the following sets to complete my scene: Hay There, Toadally Awesome, Dad + Me, Open Me, Happy Village, Winter Village, Mermaid For You, Rub-A-Dub Dub, and Beary Happy Holidays Stamp and Die Sets.

Thank you for visiting with me during this Inspiration Week! I can't believe that it is over already! You have one more day to leave comments on the Lawn Fawn Blog for a chance to win prizes, so hurry on over! Have a great day!

Penguin Palace: Fun Night Out

Hello friends! I am so excited to announce that I am guest designing for Penguin Palace for their latest release! It is packed full of amazing stamps, dies, and stencils so, let's get started.

Today, I have a fun nightclub themed card to share with you using the new Fun Night Out Stamp and Die Sets. When I saw the dance floor, I thought of the one in the movie Saturday Night Fever. I always thought that it was so cool how the squares turned different colors.

The Fun Night Out Stamp Set has all of the images that you need to create a full scene. From the super cool cat DJ to the adorable dancing pups, it has it all. I love the mirror ball and music note images. They allow you to carry the scene all the way to the top. I just adore this new set!

To create the glow around the mirror ball, I die cut a circle from masking paper and blended my background panel with Shaded Lilac, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. I then removed the mask and blended some more Shaded Lilac very lightly within the masked off area.

I then used the new Cyber Wallpaper Stencil to give the effect of the mirror ball shining down. I smoothed Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the stencil and I love how it turned out!

Thank you for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with another card with Penguin Palace products. Please come back then and I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Heffy Doodle Thank You Fairy Card

Hello again! Have you ever had one of those days, or weeks, when life knocks you off of your feet? Something unexpected comes barreling your way and you falter? Well, that happened to me last week. Just when I needed a pick me up, an amazing package showed up from Lesley at Heffy Doodle. She is just the sweetest and has the best timing!

I couldn't wait to use the stamps that Lesley sent me so, I have another card to share with you today! Yay! When I saw the tooth fairy theme of the Absotoothly Awesome Stamp and Die Sets, I fell in love! The tooth image stole my heart from first sight!

Most of you know that the Magic Picture Changer Die Set from Lawn Fawn is one of my all time favorite interactive die sets. The possibilities are endless! I just had to pair these two products together and I really love how it turned out.

The first scene shows the sweet fairy in the Magic Picture Changer window on her way to retrieve a lost tooth. When you pull the tab...

...she has exchanged her coin for the tooth! Isn't that adorable?!

I wanted to make this card a thank you card, so I used a sentiment from the Absotoothly Awesome Stamp Set and put it into a speech bubble from the Whatcha Sayin Now? Stamp and Die Set. I love that the "fairy" sentiment included in the stamp set is a script font and the coordinating die cuts out the inside of the letters! It gives such a clean and finished look to the sentiment. To add some sparkly goodness and added interest to the card, I used Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste and the Heffy Doodle Starfall Stencil

Thank you for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with two more cards to share with you! I truly appreciate the time that you spent here and hope that you will check out Heffy Doodle! You have a love a company that has such a beautiful heart behind it!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Winter Wavy Sayings

Welcome back! We continue through Inspiration Week at Lawn Fawn today with a highlight on the newly released Winter Wavy Sayings Stamp Set. This set pairs perfectly with the Simple Wavy Banners Die Set.

I created a fun underwater Christmas themed scene to share with you today. I just adore the new Christmas Fishes Stamp Set so much! I added in images from the previously released Christmas Dreams Stamp Set to round out my scene. I substituted seaweed for the fire in the fireplace and think it turned out so cute!

We have one more day of project sharing with you for this round of Inspiration Week, so please stop back tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing you then!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On

Hello again! I am back with another card featuring new products from the Lawn Fawn 2019 Fall/Winter Release. The new Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On is being featured today and another wonderful addition to the Shadow Box Card line!

I created my Shadow Box Card using the precious bear images from the previously released Beary Happy Holidays Stamp and Die Set. How sweet is this little family fishing for their dinner?

I love how Lawn Fawn thinks of all of the little elements that truly make a scene special and includes those in all of their sets. There are trees to adorn the front, as well as, a mountain range to add into the back of your scene.

I carried the design to the outside of the box using images from other stamp sets too.

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate everyone being so kind and encouraging. Please be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn Blog and leave comments during Inspiration Week. Winners will be chosen from each day and announced at the end of the week. I will be back tomorrow with another card to share with you. See you then!
