Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week Day Seven: Winter Skies/Snowfall Backdrop

Today, Lawn Fawn is showing off the new Winter Skies stamp and die sets. I know that the name implies that it is a Winter set, but I wanted to show how versatile this set can be by making a Fall themed card instead.

My idea was to show a mama and daddy bear trying to find a few moments of peace to enjoy the view. Of course their mischievous baby bear showed up and is peaking out to see what he's missing. Isn't that just the way? Haha!

To create my scene I added the log from Toadally Awesome, the pumpkins and birds from Happy Harvest, and the leaves from Jump For Joy. I also used the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait, Stitched Tree Borders, Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Portrait, Stitched Rectangle Frames, and the Grassy Hillside Borders die sets.

My second card has already been shown on last month's bonus day. For more details on how I made this card, here is the link to that post lawn-fawn-inspiration-week-bonus-day.html. I used the new Snowfall Backdrop Die: Portrait to create the wintery sky.

Thank you for stopping by today and please come back tomorrow for more inspiration and fun! Remember that Lawn Fawn has chances to win on their blog all week if you leave a comment there, so get going!

    1. Thank you so much! I love it when you can use a stamp set designed for one theme and switch it up for something else! It makes it easier to justify buying seasonal stamp sets if you can use them year round. At least that's what I tell myself... 😋

  5. These are both such beauties. The second one really catches the eye though. I noticed that even SSS had shown it on Instagram. Your work is always perfect!
