Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week Day Six: Merry Christmas Line Border Die

Hello and welcome to the sixth day of Lawn Fawn's September Inspiration Week! The design team is highlighting the new Merry Christmas Line Border Die today. Lawn Fawn's collection of line border dies are phenomenal for setting off an element or scene on your cards and projects. (To save from being redundant, all products that I used to create this card are from Lawn Fawn unless I specify otherwise.) I die cut it from red Sparkle and white cardstocks and layered them to create a drop shadow sentiment.

For the front of my card, I die cut a circle opening using the Circle Stackables Die Set into a piece of the light brown woodgrain cardstock. I sponged on Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink to accentuate the texture of the cardstock. To create the wreath, I used the Large Wreath Die Set to die cut Cilantro and Noble Fir Cardstocks. I blended some Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink onto several of the Cilantro pieces to create a mid tone color. I then layered the pieces, alternating the three colors as I went. To set the wreath off, I die cut berries from red Sparkle Cardstock and adhered them with glue dots. I then die cut the bow from the Knit Picky Petite Paper Pack and attached it to the bottom center of the wreath.

You might remember that last month I created a similar card using the Happy Fall line border die and the deer from the Woodland Critter Huggers Die Set. I loved it so much, that I wanted to make one with a fox this time. I have the adorable little fox peeping out of the wreath to the front, and when the recipient opens the card, the fox remains to be part of a wintery scene.

I die cut the fox using Canned Pumpkin, Vanilla Malt, Black Licorice, and Ballet Slippers Cardstocks. The fun accessories are from the Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On Die Set and die cut from the Knit Picky Petite Paper Pack. I love how this new addition allows you to accessorize these adorable little critters! How fun is that?! The sentiment is from the Beary Happy Holidays Stamp Set stamped in Red Lobster Ink. I used a white Gelly Roll Pen to add shine markers to my cute little fox also.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope that you have a wonderful day! Be sure to come back tomorrow for more inspiration!
