Lawn Fawn: January Blog Post

Welcome back friends! Today, I am on the Lawn Fawn blog with a fun Double Slider Surprise card featuring newly released stamp and die sets, as well as, some oldie-but-goodie stamp and die sets. If you have been following me on Instagram for any time at all, then you know how much I love the Double Slider Surprise Die Set. It creates such a fun surprise for the recipient and allows for quite a few images to be used. Also, you can pop a gift card into one of the panels. How awesome is that?

My inspiration for my card was a sweet little Valentine breakfast scene. I fell in love with the Let's Toast stamp and die set when it was released last month! How could you not just love an adorable toaster with fun images to complete it, like toast and pop tarts? I mean, COME ON! Haha!

I wanted to make this cute little avocado couple the jumping off point and then added in lots of supporting images from other sets to create a breakfast bar full of fruits, pastries, and other breakfast items. When you pull the little tabs on the sides, it reveals all of the company that the avocados have this morning.

I also used patterned paper and cardstock from Lawn Fawn to make my card. A complete list of the supplies that I used is over on the Lawn Fawn blog, so please head over there and check it out if you would like. I am so grateful for you stopping by and hope that you have a wonderful day!

Could you please tell me which set has the "mini" taco in your latest card?
