Lawn Fawn Blog Post: The Flintstones Peek-a-boo Card
Welcome back friends! I am on the Lawn Fawn blog today with a fun card with a Stone Age theme. When I saw the newly released RAWRSOME stamp set, I knew that I wanted to create a card inspired by The Flintstones. Who could resist those adorable little dinos?
I used the Peek-a-boo Backdrop die set to create the front panel and used the dies included to cut flaps in my card to hide some more adorable characters. On the front, you see Fred and Wilma, Dino and Tiger (from Bicycle Built For You stamp set), and a couple more friends in the blue dinosaur from the Rawr stamp set and a wooly mammoth from the Slow Down and Enjoy stamp set. I used the speech bubble from the newly released Open Me stamp set and the sentiments included in the Rawr stamp set as well. To create the scenery, I used images from Critter From the Past, Mermaid For You, Critters From the Jungle, and Butterfly Kisses stamp sets.
When you open the flaps behind the blue dinosaur and the mammoth, some more adorable cuties are revealed!
A baby wooly mammoth and the Flintstone's precious baby girl, Pebbles! How sweet are they? To continue the overall feel of the card to the inside of the card, I chose a sentiment and the volcano from the RAWRSOME stamp set.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope that you found my card share inspiring! For a complete list of supplies, please visit the Lawn Fawn blog. I hope that you have an amazing rest of your weekend!
