Lawn Fawn Blog: Magic Picture Changer Two Ways

Welcome friends and I hope that you are having a wonderful start to your weekend! It is the first Saturday of the month and that means that I am on the Lawn Fawn Blog to share some inspiration with you. If you have followed me for any time at all, you know how much I absolutely love the Magic Picture Changer Die Set. The card design possibilities with this die set are endless! I know that it is only August, but the holidays will be upon us before we know it. I have designed a Thanksgiving Day card and a birthday themed card for you all today, so let's get started!

In the first scene of this fun Thanksgiving get together, everyone is present and ready to give thanks and eat. I used Pick of the Patch, Jump For Joy, Forest Feast, Critter Concert, Toadally Awesome, and Joy to the Woods Stamp Sets to create the scene. Can you guess where the turkey came from.... I made turned the peacock from Peacock Before 'N Afters into a turkey by asking off the small plumes that come off of its adorable little head.

As you pull the tab at the top, the scene changes and the turkey now realizes what the plan is...

He is the main course! I used the "Eeek" sentiment from the soon to be released Spooky Village Stamp Set and the speech bubble is from the Happy Village Stamp Set. To give the effect of a die cut image on the Magic Picture Changer panels, I die cut masks from Post It Tape using the coordinating dies and placed those over the stamped images before ink blending the background.

For the second card, I used more adorable critters for a birthday party in the forest. I used images from Pick of the Patch, Party Animal, Jump For Joy, Forest Feast, Sweet Friends, Winter Village, Happy Harvest, Oh Gnome!, Birthday Before 'N Afters, and Butterfly Kisses.

The scene is set and all the critters need to do is blow the candles out, but wait! There is another surprise coming. When you pull the tab...

...another adorable party guest pops up from behind the cake that now has been blown out! I love the wonderful wow factor that these cards have for the recipient!

Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope that you have enjoyed my card shares. Please be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn Blog for more info and a complete supply list for both of these cards. Inspiration Week will be here before we know it and I have been working like crazy on more cards and projects for you all! See you then!
