Magic Iris with Mama Elephant

Hello friends! I am back today with a Magic Iris card to share with you. This newly released interactive die set from Lawn Fawn is so much fun! It is surprisingly easy to assemble and the wow factor is unbelievable! (Please click here to view the video that Kelly from Lawn Fawn put together to explain the assembly of the Magic Iris.) If you have been on the fence about whether you should add the Magic Iris to your crafty stash, then get ready for me to push you off of that proverbial fence. Haha!

I wanted to design a card using some super adorable images from a few Mama Elephant stamp sets. I cannot get over how precious the the bunnies illustrated by Aida Zamora are! Actually, all of her illustrations are off the charts cute.

As you can see, the card starts out like most cards. It has stamped images laid out in a scene with a sentiment included. When you pull the tab located on the right side of the card down, the center window begins to open up.

As the window opens, the continuation under the scene starts to be revealed.

When the tab is pulled all the way down, the center window completely opens for a new addition to the card design. How amazing is that?!

For my card, I used the Wish Upon a Star, Hippity Hop, and Circle of Friends Stamp Sets and the Landscape Trio Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. To stencil the clouds on my background, I used the newly released Cloudy Stencil from Lawn Fawn.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope that my card has inspired you and that you have a wonderful day!

  3. Just found your blog today via Pinterest - and am loving it! Love all the cute critters! I have some of the same stamp sets and you are inspiring me to want to get some others that I don't already have! Love the cute bunnies from Mama Elephant - have a new baby due in the family soon so I'm gravitating to things I can make for mother and baby!
