Lawn Fawn Really High Five Double Slider Surprise Card

Hello and welcome! It is the first Saturday of the month and I am back on the Lawn Fawn Blog today. I created a fun Double Slider Surprise card using a new stamp set from the Spring 2020 Release called Really High Five to share with you.

Lawn Fawn always knocks it out of the park with their adorable critter images! The new Really High Five Stamp Set is no exception. I started my card by die cutting the front panel for the double slider mechanism and the main background panel from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I then used the Stitched Cloud Backdrop Portrait Die to add some interest to the main panel. I love how it goes without the floating off in the sky theme!

Double Slider Surprise cards are so much fun! They get the recipient of your card involved and add a little something extra that they won't be expecting. When you pull the tabs located at the top and bottom of the card, the complete scene is revealed!

I used some accessory images from the previously released Butterfly Kisses and Smooth Sailing Stamp Sets. The speech bubble is from the new A Bug Deal Stamp Set and I heat embossed it onto some Vellum Cardstock using white embossing powder to help it pop off of the background.

To color the Bristol pieces, I used Lawn Fawn Moonstruck, Forget Me Not, and Fresh Lavender Inks with blending brushes and the new Cloudy Stencil. For the grass piece, I used the Simple Grassy Hillsides Die Set and blended on Lawn Fawn Minty Fresh and Freshly Cut Grass Ink.

I used the Lacy Borders Die Set to create the lacy layering piece from White Cardstock. As a finishing touch, I also used a piece of patterned paper from the Watercolor Wishes Petite Paper Pack.

Thank you for stopping by today! For a complete list of products that I used, please visit the Lawn Fawn Blog. I will have more designs to show you starting next week when Lawn Fawn kicks off their March Inspiration Week. I hope that every one has a wonderful weekend!
