Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight - Ninja Sayings

Hello! Mama Elephant is highlighting Ninja Sayings today. I love that this set has sentiments that can be used with ninja themed cards, as well as, other occasions. I have examples of both coming your way this week, so stay tuned.

Ninja Sayings pairs perfectly with the new Little Ninja Agenda but did you know that Mama Elephant has an older ninja set too? Tiny Ninja was released several years ago and works so well to celebrate the warriors in your life.

To begin, I stamped my favorite ninja from Tiny Ninja using a copic friendly black ink and colored it using Copic Markers. I then die cut it using the coordinating creative cuts. The images in this set are so quick to color because the main is mostly solid.

I die cut the main panel from a piece of aqua cardstock using the large stitched rectangle from Peek A Frame CC. I then ink blended the edges using Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. To create the background, I used the Kingdom Trio CC. I ink blended the top edges of those pieces using Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. For the moon, I used a circle die to cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I painted it with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors to give a shimmery glow.

For the main sentiment, I used Ninja Sayings and stamped it in Versamark before heat embossing it in white. I then took a shorter sentiment from Tiny Ninja and heat embossed that onto a speech bubble cut using Let's Chat CC.

As a final touch, I adhered an action wobbler to the back of the little ninja. This is one of the easiest ways to add a fun interactive element to any card design.

I hope that you like my card and that it inspires you to dig thru your stash to see how you can use some of your older sets. Thank you so much for stopping by and I will be back soon with more stamp highlights from Mama Elephant! I have listed and linked the Mama Elephant products that I used below for your convenience.
