Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight - Mixed Wishes Greetings

Hi friends! I am back today with more projects to share with you featuring products from the May 2021 Release from Mama Elephant. Mixed Wishes Greeting is being highlighted today so let's check it out!

First, I created a fun shaker card using the Cloud Grid Cover CC. I really love how the dies in this line create openings that are sized perfectly for the Little Agenda cuties! I started by stamping images from Little Unicorn Agenda and Unicorns and Rainbows using alcohol friendly ink. I colored them using Copic Markers and die cut them out using the coordinating creative cuts.

For the front panel, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Cloud Grid Cover CC and masked the edges off using Post It Tape. I then ink blended the panel using a blender brush with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to give it a soft sky look and flicked on some diluted Peacock Feathers to add a bit of interest. To create the cloud bank at the bottom, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle from Peek A Frame CC and the cloud die from Landscape Trio CC. I again masked off the edges for a seamless look and ink blended the panel using Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. Once the ink dried, I stamped the sentiment from Mixed Wishes Greetings using the same ink that I used for the images.

I used Rainbow High CC to die cut the rainbow from white cardstock and colored each bow using Copic Markers so that it would match the coloring on the images. After adhering the images to the background and forming the scene, I thought that it would be fun to pop the front panel up using foam tape to create a shaker design. I then filled the inside with sparkly sequins and that card is done!

For my second project, I used the Fortune Envelope CC to make a smaller card. (I plan to use this for a graduation card later this month. There is so much promise with rainbows and unicorns, don't ya think?) I used Little Unicorn Agenda, Unicorns and Rainbows, Snow Globe Bitties, and Little Spaceship Agenda for this design.

I wanted this card set to match the shaker one so I die cut one each of the scalloped and stitched square. I then masked off the edges and ink blended the panels in the same colors as before. I adhered the images to the scene using liquid glue and foam dots.

To complete the card, I stamped a sentiment from Comic Sayings at the bottom of the snow globe on the front and a sentiment from Mixed Wishes Greetings onto the blank panel for the inside.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I have listed and linked the products that I used below. Be sure to check out the Mama Elephant Blog for more inspiration from the design team. Have a great day and I will be back tomorrow with more to share!
