I am so happy that you have stopped by to visit today! I still cannot believe that we are already in 2022. The past two years have been such a rollercoaster ride that I'm pretty sure no one wanted tickets for, so let's jump on in to some happy, shall we?

The January 2022 Stampede with Mama Elephant is Mama Elephant is here! There are lots of wonderful new products in this release. I am so excited to share with you what I've been working on behind the scenes with it!

All of the new products are available now in the Mama Elephant Shop. I hope that you will hop along with us to celebrate. At the end of this post there is a list for the blog hop with links to take you to each stop. There are prizes to be won, so be sure to hop and comment along the way!

When I saw the Little Postage Agenda stamp set, I thought that it would be fun to make a curio style card. I created the frame for the curio by die cutting the Comic Cover Basic CC twice from white cardstock and then once from a blue patterned paper that matched the colors that I chose for the design. This die is perfect for this effect!

I stamped images from Little Postage Agenda and Party Animal onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock using a warm brown hybrid ink. I then colored them using Copic Markers and die cut them using the coordinating creative cuts.

Next, I made the background by die cutting a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the largest rectangle from the B2B Rectangles CC. The die gives a smooth edge to the cardstock and it layers perfectly behind the Comic Cover Basic CC. Using Speckled Egg, Broken China, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks, I blended the background.

For the main sentiment, I chose one from Sweetest Greetings. It's an older set, but I love the mix of fonts in it. I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder to make it pop off of the background. The smaller sentiments are from Tag Size Greetings and fit perfectly in the blank stamp images from Little Postage Agenda. Finally, I adhered the images around the sentiment and into the blocks of the curio using liquid glue and foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by today! I will be back on Wednesday, November 17th with another project to share with you from the new release. I have listed and linked the products that I used for today's card below for your convenience to the Mama Elephant Shop.
