Mama Elephant Guest Design Call

This is my entry into the Mama Elephant Guest Design Call. What an amazing opportunity! They are picking the guest designer(s) August 8, 2018, so if you want to enter, you still have time. 

I used the Mama Elephant 3D Pop Up Card Die Set to make the card base. I die cut it out of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and blended Distress Oxide Inks to create a sweet little meadow scene. For the grass, I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Grass, and Lucky Clover. For the sky, I used Tumbled Glass. Lastly, for the underground/dirt I used Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, and Walnut Stain. 

I filled the card with adorable critters from the Mama Elephant Dandelion Wishes, Hippity Hop, and Tea with Friends Stamp Sets.  I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out and adhered them to the card using Glue Dots. I used white embossing powder to heat emboss two sentiments from the Dandelion Wishes set (one on the flip down front panel and one on the front that is visible while the card is still folded up.)

To make the card extra special, I created the illusion of an underground home for the bunnies by die cutting a window into the front panel of the card.  I die cut acetate using the die that cuts the grass/hill inserts for the box to give me something to adhere the underground bunnies to at varying depths.
