Hello Bluebird Halloween Card

Hello again! Today, I have a card to share with you using some new goodies that I recently purchased and couldn't wait to create with. One of my new favorite stamp companies is Hello Bluebird. Their images are just darling and the stamps and dies are well made. If you haven't checked them out, I strongly encourage you to do so.

For this card, I used the Halloween Party and Halloween Fun stamp and die sets. The critter images are just too cute and work so well together! I stamped them onto Neenah 80 lb Solar White Cardstock with ink the is Copic friendly. I then colored the images with Copic Markers.

To make the card even more fun, I used the Sliding Window die set from Sunny Studios. It allows you to create a fun sliding element for your card designs and makes it so easy! When you pull the tab at the top marked "Pull", a portion of the card front slides upward and creates a fun raised design while unveiling another section of the card front that you can customize any way that you wish. (The "Pull" sentiment is from the Push Here stamp set by Lawn Fawn. It's a fabulous set that makes it easier for your recipient to know what they are supposed to do when they receive your interactive cards.)

When the card is completely flat, the bats lie flat as well. When you pull the tab out, they appear to be flying thanks to acetate strips attached to the back of the moon. So fun!

Below is a close up of some finishing touches that I added such as Glossy Accents on the sucker, bunny's nose, and the glass on the lantern, Black Glaze Pen and White Gelly Roll Pen as accents on the critters faces, and Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen on the jack-o-lantern's features, the gravestone, and the lantern firelight.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope that you have a wonderful day!
