Lawn Fawn: June Blog Post

It is the first Saturday of the month and that means I am on the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a fun card featuring the Magic Picture Changer. I absolutely cannot get enough of this die set! It is so much fun!

I combined the Magic Picture Changer with some new and older stamp sets to create an aquarium card. I wanted to have one of the cats from the Meow You Doin' stamp set in the aquarium with the fish and the cat from the Keep On Swimming stamp set gazing up in adoration.

My favorite part of the Magic Picture Changer is how you can change the scene inside the window in so many ways. My idea was to have the little clam surprise the puffer fish. I used the "boo" sentiment speech bubble from the Booyah Stamp Set to startle the puffer into puffing up. How cute is that?!?

I have had several of you ask how I use die cut images inside of the Magic Picture Changer. The answer is, I don't. The images in the Magic Picture Changer window look like die cut images because I use the coordinating dies and die cut them from Post-It Tape and then use those to mask off the images before ink blending. This gives the illusion of dies cuts and is actually easier than fussy cutting masks! I really love how it looks.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope that you enjoyed your visit. If you're curious about all of the products that I used to create my card, please visit the Lawn Fawn blog for a complete list of supplies. Have a great day!
