Pretty Pink Posh August Blog Hop

I am so excited to be guest designing for Pretty Pink Posh this month! Paulina, the owner and creative genius behind Pretty Pink Posh, is having a blog hop today and tomorrow, so please hop along with us. Not only will you get to see all of the amazing projects that we have created to share with you, but there are four (4) $25 gift certificates up for grabs! There will be two winners each day and they will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Be sure to leave comments as you hop from blog to blog to be entered to win. (Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 8/28/2019 to be eligible to win.)

I have three cards today featuring some of the new release. Whether you like cute, cuddly, or elegant, this release has you covered. I worked a bit outside of the box on my cards for this release. If you have followed me for any time then you know that scene building is my love. I didn't build scene for these cards, but I still love how they turned out. So, without further ado, let's get started!

For my first card I combine two new products from the release, the Fall Borders Stamp Set and the Grateful Shaker Die. I stamped the images onto a piece of Lawn Fawn Ground Espresso cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and used colored pencils as my coloring medium. (I always love the effect of colored pencils! I tend to shy away from them though because they take so much longer than Copics. This panel took me about three hours to color.)

I then die cut the Grateful Shaker Die once from gold shimmer cardstock and three more times from the Ground Espresso cardstock to give dimension to the die cut sentiment. I love the elegant look of the gold on the darker background. I layered the front panel onto complimentary accent colored cardstocks to complete my card.

My next card uses the beautiful new Sunflowers Stamp and Die Sets. For this design, I used MFT Hybrid Ink to stamp my images onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored them in using Zig Watercolor Markers. Again, this is a coloring medium that I rarely use because I always seem to gravitate towards my Copics. These lovely blooms took about the same amount of time to color with the Zigs and my Copics usually do and I love the way the colors blend so easily. The sentiment is from the new Bear Friends Stamp Set.

And for my final card share today, I used the new Thanksgiving Scene Stamp Set. Who wouldn't love to see these cuties arrive in their mail?! This is a scene type card, but it is one image with a single sentiment. I used Copic Markers to color my image and Distress Oxide Inks to blend the background. To set the design off, I added the Twine and Bows Die Set in Ground Coffee cardstock at the bottom.

I hope that you have your hopping shoes on because it is time to get moving! Below I have listed and linked the other participants for today:
