Lawn Fawn Blog Post: Interactive Chibitronics Yeti Card

Hello friends! Can you even believe that it is a new year?! Last year flew by for me and seems to do so more quickly with each passing year. It has been a few since I have blogged, so let's jump back in!

I am so excited to share an interactive card with you today featuring some of the new Valentine Release products from Lawn Fawn! I have added several other sets to the mix, as per usual... teehee!

I absolutely adore the Yeti or Not stamp set that was part of the Winter Release. Anytime, I can include the cutie patootie yetis into a design, I do. I am so over the moon that Lawn Fawn gave us more furniture images in the new You're Just My Type stamp set!  My idea was to have the yetis composing a letter of encouragement and/or cute romance. The “Just a note to say...” sentiment is from the Love Poems stamp set.

What do you do when you want to make a card over the top and even more interesting for the recipient? You make it interactive! I chose to add Chibitronics to my design to do this. When you push the heart in the lower right hand corner marked "Push Here", the lamp on the desk lights up! So fun!

To make the light coming from the lamp even more prominent, I die cut a piece of vellum using the Sunray Backdrop die. I then colored the back of the die cut piece with yellow Copic markers to give it a warm glow.

I hope that you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by! Please visit the Lawn Fawn Blog for more information on my card and for a complete list of products that I used to create it. Have an amazing day!

  2. Such an adorable card! I love how you made the yeti face the other direction so he could be typing! I haven't gotten to use the yetis as much as I would like yet, and I love seeing all the creative things you've done with them!
