Mama Elephant Designer Series: Turner Surprise Card

Hello! I am ecstatic to be guest designing for Mama Elephant! I am popping in today to share a fun interactive card that I created using the Turner Surprise Creative Cuts. If you love creating interactive cards like I do, then you will want to stick around for this one.

I don't know about you, but I love combining stamp sets from my stash to create unique card designs. Mama Elephant has so many products that work well together. I love that about them! The card that I have to share with you today is an example of this.

For my card, I combined the new Stackable Friends Stamp Set with the previously released Donut Treats and Circle of Friends Stamp Sets. (Aren't the animal images just the cutest?!) I stamped my images out using a dark brown hybrid ink, colored them using Copic Markers, and used the coordinating Creative Cuts to die cut them out. I then repeated this process on the hidden panel of the Turner Surprise.

To build my card, I used the scalloped rectangle shaped die from the Sweet Feline Creative Cuts to cut a white cardstock panel and layered an inked over the top. I then built my Turner Surprise to adhere to the top. (To see the instructional video for the Turner Surprise on Mama Elephant's YouTube channel, please click here.)

This style of card gives your recipient such a wonderful surprise! It's so much fun and they are going to love it! I hope that you are inspired by my card. Thank you so much for stopping by today and please be sure to visit the Mama Elephant Blog
