Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Little Sloth Agenda
Happy Monday! I am back today with another card featuring the new Little Sloth Agenda Stamp Set from Mama Elephant. I cannot get enough of these cuties! I have been a huge fan of the the Little Agenda sets from the beginning and I am ecstatic that sloths are joining the party.
For my card today, I ink blended Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock that I die cut using the largest rectangle die from the Peek A Frame Creative Cuts set. I love the texture that specks of color add to backgrounds, so I diluted the Peacock Feathers color with some water and flicked it all over the panel using a small paintbrush.
I stamped all of my images using a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them using Copic Markers. I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Creative Cuts.
To give the sloths something to climb on, I stacked three pieces of white cardstock and one piece of white sparkle cardstock using the Big Warm Fuzzy Hugs Creative Cut. I also wanted to add a grounding element to the card design. To achieve this, I used the Wild Meadow Stamp Set. I then added a strip of dark brown card stock to the very bottom to give a finished edge to the bottom of the card, as well as, a place for a few of the sloths to stand.
Thank you for stopping by today! Please visit the Mama Elephant Blog to see more inspiration from the design team. I have also added links to the products that I used from the Mama Elephant store if you're interested. Have a great day!
