Mama Elephant Stampede

Hello friends! I am so excited to be stampeding along with Mama Elephant today! It is such an honor and dream come true to be guest designing for one of all my time favorite stamp companies! I have created some fun projects to share with you today to kick off the new release and more to come during the upcoming Stamp Highlights. Let's kick the new release off with a card using the new Little Sloth Agenda Stamp Set. Who doesn't love sloths?! Add in the cuteness that Mama Elephant always packs into their little agenda sets and you cannot go wrong. 

I started my card by ink blending Hero Arts Pool Party Hybrid Ink and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I then diluted a bit of the Peacock Feathers with water and splattered it onto the panel to give more interest.  

To provide a place of the little sloths to hang out, I used the new Tree Branches Cover Creative Cuts to die cut a piece of Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock. To add dimension to the branches and frame, I blended on some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. The Tree Branches Cover Creative Cuts also includes smaller dies that cut out leaves, hearts, and flowers to add onto the branches. This allows you to carry this die thru all of the seasons!

For the sentiment, I pulled out some older Mama Elephant products from my stash. The "hugs" comes from the previously released Tri Window Cover Creative Cuts Die Set. I used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Inks to create a gradient on the letters. To complete the design, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Surprise Sentiments Stamp Set onto a strip of warm grey cardstock.
