Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: My Pet Puppies
Happy Friday to you! I am pleased to be guest designing for Mama Elephant again today! They are highlighting the new Pet Puppies Stamp and Creative Cuts. This set was illustrated by Aida Zamora and these pups are the cutest!
For my card today, I began by stamping my images using a warm brown hybrid ink and colored them using Copic Markers. I added in the sweet girl image from the previously released Play Pretend Stamp Set to play with the pups. I used the coordinating Creative Cuts to die cut the images.
To create the front panel I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the Slim Card Basics Creative Cuts. I then used Post It Tape to mask the edges and split the panel at the bottom before ink blending the background. I used a brick stencil and a blending brush to blend Antique Linen, Picked Raspberry, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink onto the panel. I then flicked on diluted inks from each and a little Copic White to add texture. To create the illusion of ground, I then blended Antique Linen and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink at the bottom.
I used a combination of liquid glue and foam adhesive to attach the images to my card front. I used the same brown hybrid ink to stamp sentiments from the set above the images to finish the design. I just love how colorful and fun it turned out!
Thank you for visiting my blog today! I have listed the Mama Elephant products that I used for my card today to below with links that will take you directly to the Mama Elephant Shop. I will be back Sunday with another card to share with you featuring products from the May Release. Until then, stay safe and healthy my friends!
